- The review in the form of homework helps students remember the concepts more.
- The research homework opens up new things for students to learn.
- It gives parents and teachers know how well the student learned the concepts.
- No homework no pressure.
- More time to relax.
- No worries that the learning resources are available at home or not.
- No worries of getting less time to do homework due to arriving home late.
- More time to do house chores.
- More time can be spent of concepts students haven’t understood in school rather than reviewing well understood concepts.
- More time to socialize.
- More time to learn other skills.
- Tension free house environment.

Phones Should Not Be Allowed in School
- Students don’t need them because they already have the luxury of ipads at school.
- If allowed, students will spend most of their time on social media and their academic performance will decrease.
- Their social interaction will decrease because they might chat on social media all day long or play games.
- They might watch inappropriate stuff on phone and spoil the school environment.
- They might cheat on tests.
- Cyber bullying will increase.
- Teachers will have no control on their devices.
- Students will be able to record teachers’ lectures and listen again at home.
- They will be able to take pictures and use them for their projects at home.
- If their devices get damaged, they will be responsible to pay for the damage.
- If the school cannot afford to buy these devices, it will not have to worry about buying these devices for students.
- In case of emergency, students will be able to immediately contact their parents rather than troubling the office staff or queuing for their turn.
- In case the school doesn’t have enough devices, BYOD will help students have devices for themselves.
AITIS Should Not Be Upgraded to High School
- More resources will be required.
- More space will be required.
- More construction will destroy natural environment of AITIS.
- We will no more benefit from plants and animals around.
- School fees will increase greatly.
- Students in higher grades will be distracted by inappropriate stuff.
- They might bully their juniors.
- They might skip classes leaving a bad influence on juniors.
- Fixing disciplinary issues might make teachers go crazy.
- More students will mean more trash ending up hiring more cleaning staff.
- More classes will mean more noise which will ruin the peaceful environment of AITIS.
- AITIS students will not have to look for other schools for further studies.
- They will not have to wake up very early and travel to far places.
- Studying at AITIS will be cheaper than the other international schools.
- Students won’t need to adapt to a new environment.
- Students won’t benefit from the facilities in other international schools that AIT provides (like 7-11, Lawson, and Sports Courts).
- Upgrading AITIS to High School will mean getting more educational equipment (like computers, library books, Science lab, music and PE equipment.
- AITIS will also have its own transportation.
- AITIS students will be able to stay longer with their friends.
- With bigger student population, the school will become well known.
- AITIS will have bigger canteen with variety of food to offer.
- There will be more teachers to interact with and learn from.
- The school will facilitate for scholarships to schools abroad.
